Jennifer Lopez refuses to talk about her pregnancy! The reason is a “destructive” circus of her private life which the tabloid media have made in the past.
The 38-year-old announced her pregnancy while onstage with husband Marc Anthony at a concert in Miami, Florida last year (November,2007) - but has been reluctant to reveal much more on the subject since that.
She herself tells, “We’re just getting used to the fact that we’ve told everybody. I do realise people want to know because they’re interested, but this is the first time I’m going through this. This is my experience and my husband’s experience, and we get to hold that for a little while. “I’m just feeling too protective to open that door right now. It’s a Pandora’s Box. It’s a destructive lifestyle to be out there. I know because I’ve lived it. Being on the cover of the tabloids every day for two years - it’s hard. You start forgetting who you really are inside.”
And the Latina star credits her husband for teaching her the value of keeping her personal life to herself, adding, “Marc is a really private person, and he’s been singing onstage since he was really young. “He made me realise you can be an artist, and have credibility and success, without your life being on public display 24 hours a day.” Lopez is due to give birth in the spring 2008.

Only in Hollywood: Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie’s great expectations are delivered on the same day (Jan. 11) in the same hospital in Los Angeles.
Aguilera has given birth to her and husband Jordan Bratman’s first child. The New York Daily News reports that it was a baby boy.
Actually the Bratman-Aguilera baby was one of the worst kept — and exhaustively reported — secrets of 2007, with source after source breaking the news while the singer remained silent until her seventh month of pregnancy. A rep for Aguilera told E! that “as soon as I have more information I will let you know.” Earlier in the week, reports leaked that Aguilera was set to undergo a C-section delivery on Friday.

Nicole Richie gives birth to a baby either. New daughter with rocker Joel Madden is named Harlow Winter Kate.She was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Richie’s rep told People, “The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents.”
